Des alternatives existent ou sont \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tude mais, que ce soit sur le plan financier ou sur le plan de l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9, aucune ne parvient encore \u00e0 concurrencer la voie chimique. La technique concurrente la plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e r\u00e9side dans la voie thermique. Mais les deux options de cette technique ont des inconv\u00e9nients: les d\u00e9sherbeurs thermiques couplant r\u00e9sistances chauffantes et syst\u00e8me de soufflerie ne sont pas tr\u00e8s efficaces et consomment beaucoup d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, tandis que les d\u00e9sherbeurs thermiques avec flamme n\u00e9cessitent d&rsquo;utiliser&nbsp; du gaz hydrocarbon\u00e9 en bouteille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet <strong>HERBISTOP<\/strong> est une solution innovante proposant l&rsquo;utilisation de plasma pour effectuer des actions de d\u00e9sherbage dans <strong>les multiples domaines ou il s&rsquo;av\u00e8re&nbsp; indispensable, comme <\/strong><strong>l\u2019agriculture, le transport ou l\u2019urbanisme.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le domaine agricole,<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>le d\u00e9sherbage des cultures est une action incontournable<\/strong>. Les plantes concurrentes aux cultures r\u00e9duisent la croissance et les productions, mais \u00e9galement peuvent \u00eatre toxiques pour les consommateurs et pr\u00e9senter des risques invasifs ou provoquer des risques de production de pollen allerg\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le domaine des transports ou de l&rsquo;urbanisme (chemins, routes, ponts, parkings, voies ferr\u00e9es, pistes des a\u00e9roports\/a\u00e9rodromes, trottoirs, terrains de sport et zones de loisir \u2026), les v\u00e9g\u00e9taux ind\u00e9sirables doivent \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9s pour ne pas g\u00eaner la circulation mais aussi pour limiter la d\u00e9gradation des structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019innovation propos\u00e9e, consiste \u00e0 combiner des effets physiques et chimiques obtenus simultan\u00e9ment lors de\u00a0<strong>la production d\u2019un <\/strong><strong>plasma d\u2019air comprim\u00e9<\/strong>, et donc une <strong>flamme sans combustion<\/strong> envoy\u00e9e sous la forme d&rsquo;une <strong>torche<\/strong> en direction des \u00a0plantes \u00e0 d\u00e9truire. Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 brevet\u00e9 par le CNRS et l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Paris-Saclay. Les plasmas combinent\u00a0<strong>les avantages de diff\u00e9rents modes d\u2019action<\/strong>, \u00e0 savoir des\u00a0<strong>effets <\/strong><strong>thermiques<\/strong>\u00a0(chaleur),\u00a0<strong>chimiques<\/strong>\u00a0(formation d\u2019esp\u00e8ces actives comme l\u2019ozone),\u00a0<strong>rayonnants<\/strong>\u00a0(\u00e9mission de lumi\u00e8re UV, \u00e9mission de lumi\u00e8re infrarouge, et possible\u00a0<strong>rayonnement de microondes dans certains cas<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong>. La synergie de ces<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>diverses caract\u00e9ristiques reconnues<\/strong>\u00a0comme destructrices de mauvaises herbes appara\u00eet comme\u00a0<strong>un atout majeur dans Alternatives exist or are under study, but in terms of both cost and effectiveness, none is yet able to compete with the chemical route. The most developed competing technique is thermal treatment. But both options have their drawbacks: thermal weeders combining heating resistances and a blower system are not very efficient and consume a lot of energy, while thermal weeders with a flame require the use of bottled hydrocarbon gas.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/div>\n<!-- \/wp:column --><\/div>\n<!-- \/wp:columns --><\/div>\n<!-- \/wp:group -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The HERBISTOP project is an innovative solution proposing the use of plasma for weed control in the many fields where it is essential, such as agriculture, transport and urban planning.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In agriculture, weed control is an essential action. Plants that compete with crops not only reduce growth and production, but can also be toxic to consumers, present invasive risks or cause allergenic pollen production.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>In the transport or urban planning sectors (paths, roads, bridges, parking lots, railroads, airport\/aerodrome runways, sidewalks, sports fields and leisure areas, etc.), undesirable vegetation needs to be eliminated so as not to hinder traffic, but also to limit the deterioration of structures.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The proposed innovation consists in combining physical and chemical effects obtained simultaneously by producing a compressed-air plasma, and thus a combustion-free flame sent in the form of a torch towards the plants to be destroyed. Plasmas combine the advantages of different modes of action: thermal (heat), chemical (formation of active species such as ozone), radiant (UV light emission, infrared light emission, and possible microwave radiation in some cases).
