How to reach the LPGP ?

The LPGP is located on the Campus Sud of the Orsay Faculty of Science, in the commune of Orsay, about 25 km south of Paris, in the Essonne département (91).
Note: rue Bequerel is the campus street on which bat. 210 is located. 15 rue G. Clemenceau is the address of the main campus entrance (and the postal address).

By car
From Paris, there are two possible routes:
From Paris “Pont de Sèvres
Take the N118 towards the A10 – A11 (Orléans, Bordeaux, Chartres, Nantes)
Exit at Orsay
Follow signs for “Centre Universitaire”.
Or
From Paris “Porte d’Orléans” or “Porte d’Italie
Take A6 (Lyon), then A10 (Orléans, Bordeaux, Massy, Palaiseau)
Leave the A10 at “Bures/Orsay” and take the Chevreuse/D188 slip road
Exit at Orsay
Follow signs for “center universitaire”.

By train, Paris Subway
The Campus is also easily accessible by metro and RER (Réseau Express Régional RER).
Take the RER B towards Saint Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
Choose a train that stops at “Orsay-Ville” station (stations are indicated on platforms by illuminated signs).
Journey time (approx.):
Gare du Nord – Orsay-Ville : 45 min
Châtelet-les-Halles – Orsay-Ville: 40 min.
Denfert-Rochereau – Orsay-Ville : 35 min
Antony – Orsay-Ville: 20 min
Massy-Palaiseau – Orsay-Ville: 15 min
Exit the station and go under the tracks through the tunnel on the left as you leave.

By plane
The Campus is close to Orly airport (15 minutes by car).
Alternatively, you can take the “OrlyVal” from Orly to Antony station, where there is a connection with the RER B (approx. 3/4 hour).
From Roissy airport (north of Paris), you first need to take the Paris ring road by car.
From Roissy, take the RER B to Orsay (approx. 1h30).
